Top 3 Foods for all of the Benefits of Good Fats!

benefits of good fatsThis week I want to encourage and share with you why you MUST eat plenty of fat.  At the same time, not just any fat will do… some fats are no good at all, while others have health boosting and fat-burning amazing benefits. Here are three of my favourites that I personally eat just about every day.

Avocados are rich in monounsaturated fats as well as loads of vitamins (E, K and C to mention just a few). Not only that, but they pack a serious fibre punch, 5 grams in just a small half cup!

avocadoBetween the fibre and healthy fat content, you’ll have no problem being sufficiently satisfied for hours after enjoying a delicious avocado. Makes for a great addition to salads or as guacamole! Smashed avocado & feta is popular right now.

Great research is coming through now to ground the avocado stone as people with cancer challenges could have great assistance. Your skin will love it as avocado oil increases the amount of soluble collagen in the skin. This keeps your skin smooth and elastic, and eliminates the tiny fine lines around your eyes.

It also does an amazing job of retaining water in your skin, making it a great moisturizer. I love what I am hearing from the people using the CELL Infuse Body Custard with Avocado Oil in it. Sandra, one of our clients says: ‘In my last order I picked up CELL Infuse Body Custard, I first noticed how rich and silky it felt, along with a beautiful fragrance. As I continued with applying it each day all the dryness on my legs has gone. It looks like my skin on my legs did 15 years ago in my forties.’
I personally always put avocado in my protein shake, it helps to thicken, plus gives my husband and I all the health benefits.

eggs contain good fatsEggs are a great source of fat as well as high quality protein. Just make sure you don’t skip out on the yolk!  Why?  The yolk is by far the most nutritious part of the egg, providing over 11 vitamins and minerals including nearly 100% of the daily RDI of energy-boosting B12 from just 3 eggs daily. They are a great breakfast item, but of course they can be enjoyed at any time of day! This is one of the first solids I gave my girls as babies at 6 months. Egg yolk liquid, what a start in life they received, and in turn they both did it to our six grandchildren.

coconut oil health benefitsCoconut oil is one of the richest sources of perhaps the most beneficial fats known to man, medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). MCTs have been shown to improve brain function, lower cholesterol, improve skin and hair health, and best of all, burns fat! I am putting Coconut Oil into so many of the CELL Infuse skin care products which clients love. The down side can be it may harden a little during the winter months, so be mindful of that. Simply activate to warm with your fingertips. Coconut oil is a hot topic in health and skin care. I use both internally and externally. It can assist in preventing diabetes, boosts your immune system, and can promote a healthy thyroid and more.

So for good health and less fat on the body look at these three foods daily, and enjoy!

Yours in good health,
Judy and Team.
